Arr. Martha Lynn Thompson

Ring With 6: Year-Round II continues to expand the 12-bell concept by expanding the range (sometimes G4-C7) and providing longer, more challenging arrangements. All pieces are suitable for concert and only one would not be usable in worship. A variety of techniques as well as handchimes and even tambourine may be used in addition to handbells. Suggested assignments are provided for each piece, and all may be rung by 6 ringers without using any 4-in-hand ringing.

RING WITH 6: PERCUSSION (Handbell)

Arr. Martha Lynn Thompson

This is the 6th collection in Martha Lynn Thompson's best-selling Ring with 6 series. Expanding the 12-bell concept, these pieces use 14-17 bells, all are hymn tune or carol settings, and all can be rung by six ringers without the use of 4-in-hand ringing. A seventh person -- perhaps the director -- is needed for the simple percussion part. Although the pieces stand alone without percussion, the instruments add much to the nature of the pieces. Suggested assignments are provided for each piece.
