God so loves the world that we may love the world, world of our senses, worlds beyond our sight, beauty in our world, the people in our world, gleams of the glory, God's divine delight. God so loves the world that we may mend the world: care for its creatures, tend to earth's repair, heedful of her health and grateful for her gifts, riches to relish: water, soil and air. God so loves the world that we might change the world, battered and bloodied, broken by the strong, struggling with the powers and strenuous for peace, cultures of kindness cheering us along. God so loves the world that we must save the world: celebrate, suffer, hunger for the good, trust the way of Christ, and grasp the Spirit's signs drawing together one true neighborhood.
