See the wild goose rising, flying to the sun, never hesitating, now the time has come; see the others follow, crowding to the sky, rising to the moment, never asking why! Christ is resurrected! Should we stand and stare? Should we wait to argue, with such joy to share? He has come to find us, eager to invite fearful ones to follow, borne on his delight! He who hung in sorrow, facing total loss, gained the joy of heaven, dying on the cross. Soaring faith affirms it, death can never hide, life that springs for ever in the one who died. Though our faith still falters, though despair and shock still strike doubt and terror through his scattered flock; we will heed his summons, seize the hope he brings, then with doubt behind us, rise and spread our wings!
