Surely God the Lord is good, guiding all those whose hearts are pure; at God's hands we take our food, in God's love we are secure: vainly do the heathen cry, 'Can the Most High watch us all?' Shamed by that all-seeing eye, soon the boasting proud will fall. When my stumbling footsteps tire, strengthen me in all I do- earth has not more I desire; whom have I in heaven but you? Though my flesh and heart shall fail, you supply immortal needs; with your help I shall prevail and proclaim your perfect deeds. Yes, this earth-bound fantasy shall disperse when you arise; when you come to welcome me to your home beyond and skies. Glory be to God today, every heart by grace forgiven; souls redeemed and angels say, Glory in the highest heaven!
