JOHN INNES (b. 1937) was born and raised in Bradford in the United Kingdom. He came to the States to attend the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and became a citizen of the US. He is also a graduate of Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL and received a Masters Degree in Music from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. He has gained an international reputation as a keyboardist for the Billy Graham Association. John and his wife, Janet, presently live in Stone Mountain, GA. He was Director of Keyboard Ministries for Dr. Charles Stanley at First Baptist Church of Atlanta and is still doing part-time church work in the area. John has a number of keyboard collections as well as several anthems in the Hope catalog. He claims that Don Hustad had the greatest influence on him as a young student at The Moody Bible Institute. John has had an accomplished career as a composer, arranger, conductor, studio musician, minister of music, record producer, recording artist, and concert artist.
