Beall, Mary Kay

MARY KAY BEALL (b. 1943)was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She has been a Writer/Editor with Hope Publishing Company since 1984. She holds a B.M. degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, an M.A. from Ohio State University, and a Masters in Theological Studies from Trinity Seminary in Columbus, OH. She and her husband, John Carter, are a well-known creative team and currently make their home in Columbus, Ohio. Mary Kay has been an editor for the Hope Publishing Company since 1991 and she conducts clinics and reading sessions throughout the United States and Canada. She is ordained in the American Baptist Church and is currently ministering to church musicians and choirs in the United States and Canada in the area of Spiritual Formation and Renewal. Hope Publishing Company has recently released her devotional collection for music ministry entitled SINGING IN THE SPIRIT, (Code No. 8007). She also has a large number of original two part choral compositions available from the company and as of 2002 Mary Kay has 84 separate titles available from Hope.
