Anderson, Christine D.
CHRISTINE D. ANDERSON (b. 1949) was born in Rahway, NJ. She received a degree in Music from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. In 1987, she published her first manuscript with Agape/Hope entitled Songs for the Solo Ringer. Since then she has published seventy solo and ensemble titles, mostly with Agape. Married to Dr. Ross Anderson, they have four children and currently live in Pinon Pines, California. Christine lists as her hobbies cross stitching, knitting, snow skiing, ice skating, traveling, her two miniature dachshunds, and their grandchildren. She has four videos, two CDs and two cassettes in the Hope catalog, which all focus on solo handbell ringing, an area in which she is this country's leading exponent. She is the National Handbell Consultant for LifeWay Church Resources and Editor for "Handbells" magazine. She also conducts handbell workshops and festivals, is a free-lance writer for music journals, and performs solo handbell concerts worldwide. To date Christine has a total of fifty-six separate listings in the Agape/Hope catalogs.
