David G. Wilson

DAVID G. WILSON (b. 1940) was born in Greenwich, England. He was educated at the University of Manchester, Ridley Hall and Clove College, Cambridge. Ordained in 1965 he served parishes in London and Leicester. Also a fine organist, he served as editor and tune contributor to HYMNS FOR TODAY'S CHURCH (London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1982) as well as several other hymnals and songbooks from the Jubilate Hymns Group of which he is a member. Hope represents all the Jubilate properties in the United States and Canada. Wilson has two tunes in Hope's new hymnal WORSHIP & REJOICE (2001).
