Lynn Shaw Bailey

LYNN SHAW BAILEY (b. 1955) Innovative, creative and energetic are words that describe this composer, arranger, choral clinician, writer and lyricist. Lynn has a passion to share God's love and the joy of music with people of all ages.

Perhaps best known by her anthems for younger and developing voices, her music includes sacred, educational and secular works for adult, youth and children's choirs as well as compositions for piano, organ, handbells and instrumental ensembles. She is a member of ACDA and Choristers Guild, as well as the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP), where she has received special annual awards for her compositions since 1995. Lynn studied music at Oklahoma Baptist University and received OBU's Alumni Profiles in Excellence Award.

A native and resident of Georgia for most of her life, Lynn and her husband now live in Waco, Texas and are members of FBC of Woodway. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their two grown sons, other family and friends.
