MATTHEW COMPTON (b. 1994) was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is studying K-12 Choral Education at Concordia University in Wisconsin. Ever since he started with handbells in 2007, he has been ringing, composing, and conducting non-stop. Published at 15, he has had his music played at both regional and national handbell festivals, including Distinctly Bronze. He rand with the Pikes Peak Youth Ringers all through high school and currently rings with the Alleluia Ringers of Concordia University. He wishes to have the opportunity to be a clinician and guest conductor for future festivals and handbell workshops.
