Milt Friesen

MILT FRIESEN (b. 1954) is a husband, dad, opa, worship pastor and Director of West Coast Mennonite Men's Chorus and spent over 30 years as an educator, church musician, and family man. With a Master's degree in Choral Conducting from Fresno Sate, he enjoyed teaching music in public schools, junior colleges, and at Fresno Pacific University where he served as the Program Director of the Music department as well as Director of Choral Activities. He has planned and led worship at St. Paul's Newman Center, Fresno, First Baptist Church, Bethany Mennonite Brethren Church, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and currently at North Fresno Mennonite Brethren Church. He retired from teaching in 2016. Now, in his ample free time, you can find Milt at the following places: church, on his motorcycle, in the kitchen, out in the garden, at his woodworking bench, playing with his grandchildren, or on the golf course. Who knew retirement would take so much time? Milt lives in Fowler, California with his wife Bendta.
