Phil Perkins

PHIL PERKINS is an eclectic composer, arranger, pianist, orchestrator, conductor, producer and sometime publisher of music for the church. A graduate of the famous School of Music at North Texas State University he did further graduate studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He began his career as a staff arranger for Word, Inc. In 1979 he moved to Los Angeles where he became Vice President, Publishing of the Sparrow Corporation now EMI CMG. His next move took him to Music City - Nashville, Tennessee. There he helped found CCLI where he served on their Board of Directors and as Publisher consultant for many years. He is the owner and President of Music Services, Inc., a copyright licensing and administration company focused on Christian music. In 1992 he published with Hope CHRISTMAS CAROLS FOR PIANO Code No. 259 eleven arrangements of popular Christmas songs.
