With the many number of bell techniques, this version of Be Thou My Vision is excellent for showcasing the different musical and ringing styles. Incorporated in this arrangement of the SLANE melody are a number of bell techniques. The piece ends with interesting harmonies and full chords and is a good opportunity for expressive playing. It begins with only the treble clef for the first 19 measures and is very quiet, gradually growing faster, then broadening into the final section. This version is excellent for showcasing the different musical and ringing styles. Eugene Butler has set this 94-measure arrangement in the key of G Major.
