A lady in our church bell choir passed and gave some money specifically earmarked for our bell choir. As the new director, I went searching for some new repertoire for our small two-octave choir. This seemed very pretty, so I ordered it. In spite of not having the privilege of 7 octaves, the piece is still very appealing and accessible, and my choir loves it. We're doing it again for Easter this year. Here is the beautiful part - when I purchased it, I did not know of its dedication, and it turned out to be written for a lady very much like our own ringer-enthusiast who donated money to our bell choir! We played it for her funeral, and the recording of us (along with me reading the dedication) was played at her graveside service, much to the hearfelt gratitude of her family. Thank you, Jason! I love your organ music, too! Kelly Hackleman, Music Director, Shawnee Presbyterian Church, Shawnee, KS
