Gracious God, you call your people to your Table through your Word: summon us through all our senses, let our hearts and minds be stirred. Root us in th' apostles' teaching, joined in fellowship and prayers, yet, like bread that breaks to feed us, give us faith that risks and dares. Word Incarnate, dwelling with us, sharing human joy and pain, healing, blessing, dying, rising, making all things new again: still proclaim your Good News through us in life's daily give and take; help us love and serve our neighbor with your grace and for your sake. Holy Spirit, life-bestower, potent wind and urgent flame, may your gifts and fruits bring blessing to all those who bear Christ's name. Guard us from the snares of evil, but when on sin's path we stray, give us grace to turn, repentant, back to God's life-giving way. Triune God, diverse, united, source of true community, from whose shared implanted image comes all human dignity: help us guide the plow of justice well and rightly, deep and true, carving room for peace to flourish, op'ning hearts to grace anew.
