Open our minds, O God, that we may seek your truth and follow without fear where learning leads us. Let knowledge strengthen faith, whether in age or youth, and wisdom comprehend that grace precedes us. Open our hearts, O God, that we may know your love but never hope to hoard it as a treasure. Teach us how love spares not, spends over and above; self-giving is your nature and love's measure. Open our hands, O God, that we may be content to grasp the tasks you daily set before us. Give us the faith to dare, to spend, and to be spent, and with your truth and love to life restore us.
