Shepherd of all who inhabit the earth, dying you showed us humanity's worth; calling all home in their own mother tongue, Lord, by your life-giving word, make us one. Lover of souls, undermining our pride, heal and forgive each offense we would hide. Pardon and grace are the fruits of your tree; Lord, by your self-giving love, make us free. Conqueror of death, overcoming despair, strengthen us, lest, by our ceasing to care, truth yield to falsehood and justice to wrong; Lord, by your rising to life, make us strong. Herald of God and the kingdom to be, grant us the vision to see as you see; risking the new to give life to the old, Lord, by your gospel of hope, make us bold. Host at the feast and our Guide on the way, yours is the glory redeeming earth's day; teach us to serve and with joy to depend, Lord, on your Spirit-filled life without end.
