Christmas Day Christ, we have claimed you, Child, Prince of Peace we have named you, kept you in wraps, safe and small, peace cost us nothing at all. Palm Sunday Christ, we have cheered you, shouted, "Hosanna!" yet feared you, too many powers you release, Christ, you're disturbing our peace. Good Friday Christ, now we mourn you, shocked at the nails that have torn you, raw from the Cross you still own us, peace has a price and you've shown us. Easter Day Christ, you confound us, peace is your glory around us! Costly this peace we receive; peace we must be, and believe.
