Lord, I repent my sin And bow my head in shame, I am confounded by a God Who loves me as I am. I need to justify My lawlessness and pride; But now a self within myself Confesses that I lied. The sentence I deserve I now no longer dread: I know my Judge has died for me, And bids my raise my head. He calls me to his side And counts me with the just: For when I put my trust in him He takes me too on trust. Now justified by faith, I want my life to prove There is no greater power on earth Than God's redeeming love.
