Zacchaeus in the pay of Rome is climbing up a tree; he wants to see a holy man- the Man from Galilee. The holy man is looking up, Zacchaeus looking down: 'Zacchaeus, I must dine with you, before I leave the town!' Zacchaeus, Son of Abraham, is overcome with shame: for he who eats with holy men will never be the same. Zacchaeus is a happy man, a man new-born is he! But Jesus takes the road again, to die upon a Tree.
