A Branch connected to the vine, producing fruit and useful wine, grows wild in vineyard fields of green, its greatest harvest yet unseen. Though now it grows and seems to be abundant in fertility, it is the pruner in the field who knows how much a branch can yield. Without the pruner's painful care, this branch has much less fruit to bear; if left along to go its way, it will not luscious fruit display. And so the master gardener takes the action needed for our sakes; the Father then is glorified when in the Vine we all abide.
