When the Spirit's at the threshold pausing for the moment right, I am caught in quandary two-fold: fear it won't and fear it might. Take not your Spirit from me! When I've envied others' freedom and Spirit's pow'r displayed, though a myst'ry of the Kingdom, and though fearful, still I prayed: Take not your Spirit from me! On the other side of awesome is the Spirit's quiet side, where God's hidden work is welcome, for this also I have cried: take not your Spirit from me! For the Spirit's rich outpouring, come what will and come what may, whether want or plenty storing, with abandon I will pray: Take not your Spirit from me!
