Amazing grace (how sweet the sound) that saved and set me free! I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see! *Twas grace that taught my hear to fear, and grace my dears relieved. How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed. Through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come; God's grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. And when our flesh and heart decay and mortal life shall cease, by grace we'll tread a better way, a live with joy and peace. When we've been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun, we've no less days to sing God's praise, than when we'd first begun. Amazing grace (how sweet the sound) that saves and sets us free; the dead awake, the lost are found, the best is yet to be.
