Christ found a world divided by culture, color, creed; he loved them all, he joined them by word and helpful deed. He drew them all together-- that man of Galilee-- all peoples, tribes, and races, united and yet free. And still the work continues: this is our dream, our goal: to bring the world together in one united whole. Each human life respected, each culture and each taste, each background and each viewpoint; none scorned in pride or haste. Respecting each one's talent, concern for each one's need-- to some much has been given: from some we much received-- some offer fun and music; some bring their strength and skill; some boast artistic genius; some gifts of mind and will. United by our caring for each and everyone; united by our Savior, by Christ, the Holy One: all human life is sacred; no human life is dross. Lead on, O Christ, we follow as comrades of the cross.
