WE GATHER AT THY TABLE, LORD

We gather at thy table, Lord,
     to fellowship with thee,
in keeping with thy will and word,
     that we may faithful be.

Now let us take the sacred bread,
     our souls and bodies feed;
in heart and soul we shall be fed,
     thy holy will to heed.

Now let us take the wine of heaven,
     for thee whose blood was shed;
that here we meet with sins forgiven,
     and by thy grace are led.

To thee, O Lord, we sing our song,
     renewed by strength divine,
for we by faith to thee belong,
     forever to be thine.
