O rest in peace at last, and lie contented, it's finished now, the task you came to do; life's thrusting power has finally relented, the summit gained where God makes all things new. Then should we mourn, for God has held you safely? We do not doubt that Christ's care will remain. The peace that Jesus promised now awaits you; an end to tears, an end to grief and pain. O rise in expectation at that promise, God works for good in what we greet as ill; have faith, my friend, a greater gift awaits us than all our hopes of heaven could fulfil. We look with eyes constrained by human knowledge, but God works out of view of human sight; so rest in hope, the Spirit give you courage, that you might face the dazzle of God's light!
