In God my heart rejoices, my head is lifted high! Come, join with me your voices to praise and glorify! His strength a firm foundation no other gods can claim, the Rock of our salvation for holy is his Name. He gives us life and being, he knows our every part, our fears and failures seeing, the secrets of our heart. With righteousness unswerving are all our actions weighed; by grace beyond deserving is final judgment made. His ways, in wisdom founded, our fruitful earth sustain. We move, by love surrounded, from dust to dust again: till ends our human story as on that further shore we rise with Christ in glory, alive for evermore.
