God our Father, God our Mother, source of life and holy love, Christ our sister, Christ our brother, come in fire and come as dove. In a world pushed to its limits, crazed by threat of nuclear night, give your people hope for living, spark of new creation's light. Spirit, giving life to dying, hope to those entombed in fear, come with offered love to free us, bring God's new day tingling near. Christ our sister, Christ our brother, meet us in the throb of life, dreams of young and old bestirring peace for living, ending strife. Fan among us tongues of fire, speaking through our garbled talk, lies and schemings left behind us dream within us; in us walk. Spirit come as wind to move us, pushing us for all we're worth, give us nerve to use our power, loving with your love, our earth. Walk through dens of fiercest lions, brave the swoop of angry hawks, dare to live un covered in us, free us from death's mindless box. God of nurture and of true growth, hear us pray in desperate hour, send us out, unburdened lovers, armed with Pentecostal power. God our Father, God our Mother, tender love that nurses all, give us birth as passion's people, tune us to compassion's call. Then our earth shall own your newness, hearts of flesh beat with your love, dry bones rise to greet your morning. Come O Fire, Come O Dove.
