Mother, Child, and Birthing Spirit, hear us now, we pray. Lead us in creation's song, begun anew this day. Let it ring throughout the earth, let every people join in your hymn of grateful praise, most holy three in one. Mother God, all praise to you and to your Child of Light. Birthing Spirit, draw us forth from out our seeming night, till we see your glory come: new heaven here on earth. Holy God in each of us, now called to sacred birth. Green the grass and blue the sky, what wonders now we see. Eyes of gray or deepest brown, whose souls within are free. In each face we see your love, and in each one your care. Teach us now to know ourselves, with all, our beauty share.
