With my whole heart, I thank the God who made me woman, set me free to find a self, to find a faith that none may take away from me. There was a woman once, who came to bring a gift, most highly-priced, and poured it out, with her whole heart, a precious perfume for the Christ. For she had sensed his Spirit power -- the spendthrift love that cost the earth, and she had seen his focus clear, who gave a woman lasting worth. To God I sing, my spirit's hope, whose being longs to take my part, whose peace like fragrance fills my house: this love I'd trust, with my whole heart.
