Now is the time for our songs of rejoicing, this is the day for amazement and joy; God comes to earth in the form of our brother, the Word becomes flesh in a small newborn boy. REFRAIN: Noel, sing noel! Hosanna, noel! Our God is now with us, Immanuel! Born in a stable, a manger his cradle, no inn has room for so humble a guest; none of earth's great ones have time to receive him, but wondering shepherds behold and are blest. REFRAIN Not to the mighty, God's son comes among us, not just to wealthy and wise, but to all; hungry and poor, lost or lonely or hopeless, this child comes with hope for earth's humble and small. REFRAIN Sing, all you elders, and shout, all you children, great jubilation let all voices raise-- hymns and hosannas and psalms of thanksgiving for God's gift to us this most blessed of days! REFRAIN
