God of compassionate love and grace, walk with us through this darkest place, here where we draw our fleeting breath, grieving the mystery of chosen death. Sing us the songs we cannot sing, pardon the praise we cannot bring, speak all the words we dare not say, weep with us, Lord, we humbly pray. Though precious dust returns to dust, help us to hold your hand in trust; help us to leave within your care all whom we love and grieve for here. Amen
