KEVIN THOMSON (b. 1955) was born in Richmond, VA. He attended Oberlin College Conservatory of Music and graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Kevin worked for five years as a high school choral director before changing to a career in computer science. He founded the Men's Choir at Community United Methodist Church and has been its director for over twenty years. Kevin first started composing church choral music to satisfy the needs of his Men's Choir. In 2004, he had his first anthem published, and has had several others published since then. He currently resides in Virginia Beach, VA.
