The Spirit filled the tomb with breath when God forgave us Jesus' death; grace comes not by his death alone, but by forgiving what was done. When heaven's gift was not received, the Savior died, the Spirit grieved; yet grace sustains our mortal loss, as God, by grace, forgives the cross. We bear the cross to touch and trace the tears that marked our Savior's face; and we have learned, in spite of pain, that hope can always rise again. Not death alone, but mercy saves; receive and rise up from your graves reborn to live and Jesus bid until, with God, our lives are hid.
