Like a pearl of great price is the Kingdom of God when I hear the Good News he makes known; all his words are like gold, they are tested of old, and my Lord is the chief precious stone. He's my treasure in heaven, never earned, simply given; he's my friend, he's my goal, he's my crown: Jesus Christ is the prize, and his truth makes me wise; for my sin his own life was laid down. Like some rich treasure trove is the wealth of his love, and it does not run out when we die: for no wage or reward can compare with my Lord, and he gives what no money can buy. Not by luck of the draw nor from points that I score, but the gift of salvation is free: I am heir to it all if I come at his call - come and hear, come and find, come and see! Not by luck of the draw nor from points that I score, but the gift of salvation is free: I am heir to it all if I come at his call - come and hear, come and find, come and see! Should I keep to myself all this fabulous wealth? No! I'll take it to all of my friends! There's no joy can compare with this news I can share and the love of my Lord never ends.
